Chalet Ludwig

Chalet Ludwig is a former hunting lodge from the 1920s. It is located on a large, well-kept and cared site at the entrance of Hohenschwangau and was extensively renovated in 2017. The owners have placed great emphasis on the preservation of the old panel doors with original fittings, the restored parquet floors, stucco ceilings and double windows as well as many other details, which underline the charm of an old hunting lodge. On the other hand, all what is necessary for comfort has been provided for. The bathrooms are modern, the bright kitchen is fully equipped and of course satellite TV and WLAN are available. The highlight of the villa is the peaceful unique view of Neuschwanstein Castle, which can be reached only within 20-30 minutes by walk. The area offers a variety of leisure activities and cultural highlights, which can be booked at the reception of the nearby hotel. Guests of the villa receive preferential admission tickets for the royal castles. Other attractions are the Festival Hall, the Thermal Springs in Schwangau, the countless bathing lakes in the nearby area, the Tegelberg mountain, the Lechfall and the Baumkronenweg tracking route in Füssen. A variety of shops and supermarkets are in Schwangau and Füssen. The wellness area in the adjoining hotel can be used free of charge; on request and for an extra charge it can also exclusively be used as a private spa. Breakfast service in the chalet and daily house service are bookable optionally.
