Finca Palomar

The Finca Palomar is situated in a rural and quiet area at about 390 meters above sea level on the coast of Puntagorda, only 5 minutes walk to the cliffs. Due to the altitude there is hardly any scattered light and thus one has a gigantic view into the starry sky, which is known to be especially well visible on La Palma. The comfortable, typically Canarian holiday home is surrounded by a fenced area of approx. 8,000 sqm. On the land piece there are citrus fruits, olive trees, avocados, mangos, agaves, figs, moringa, a cactus garden as well as palms and ornamental plants of all kinds. Guests are welcome to help themselves with the existing fruits and enjoy the island in this way!
The modern and very comfortably renovated Finca Palomar offers in an area of 65 sqm not only every comfort and luxury, but also from all rooms a spectacular view of the sea and the Atlantic coast. The 3x7 m private infinity-pool with a fantastic view invites guests to relax and enjoy the sunsets.
The outdoor area under the large Canarian palm consists of several stone terraces with a comfortable bench and warm outdoor shower as well as a large wooden deck with plenty of sunbathing space. Comfortable deck chairs and lounge furniture make your stay at the saltwater pool a special experience.
The large, open-plan kitchen-living room area with winter garden contains a white Bosch kitchen with extra silenced dishwasher, induction hob, oven and fridge with freezer compartments. A rattan sofa with glass table and a rattan deck-chair invite the guests to read and relax. A large domed screen enables all German and foreign Astra programmes on TV. Free WiFi and a Bluetooth BOSE sound system can also be used by mobile phone for individual musical wishes on the whole Finca. In the bedroom is a double bed with orthopaedic natural rubber mattresses, which adapt themselves ideally to the individual body and ensure a relaxed sleep. The bathroom features a modern, floor-to-ceiling glass shower with rainwater shower head and fantastic sea views.
Located below the village of Puntagorda, it takes about 5 minutes to reach various supermarkets, an organic food shop, a bakery, various cafés and restaurants and a pharmacy. In approx. 10 minutes by car you reach the Puerto de Puntagorda, a small, quaint rocky bay with the possibility to swim in the sea.
The house has a sustainable, climate-neutral power supply from photovoltaics, including a wallbox for charging electric vehicles. The wallbox only supplies solar power.
