Can Teresita

Like a Moroccan fortress, the luxury villa Can Teresita towers behind the monastery of Es Cubells on Ibiza. Together with the small church, the three buildings form an architectural unit. Situated on a 10,000 sqm plot with old trees and citrus trees, this holiday villa gives the impression of a typical Balearic finca despite its modern design. Designed by the French architect Nicolas Besset, the house combines modern interior with Moroccan influences in a unique way. The cupboards in the house, for example, are all handmade and made of teak. Sofa cushions and bedspreads were embroidered in Marrakech, while the large dining table comes from Burma. The bathrooms are also very special: the walls were finished with tadelakt, a Moroccan paint technique. The washbasins are made of converted wooden vats, and the showers are "Rainforest showers" by Dornbracht. The modern lighting concept of Can Teresita was designed by a German lighting architect. On the ground floor of the luxury villa is the open seven-metre-high living room with fireplace and gallery. The transition to the dining area and kitchen is fluid. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances by Smeg and Miele. The doors of the kitchen cabinets, on the other hand, are made of small wooden branches. There is also a double and a twin bedroom on the ground floor, each with its own bathroom, as well as a guest toilet. The master bedroom on the first floor also has an en-suite bathroom and a fireplace. From the large terrace, furnished with leather cushions, you have a wide view over the sea to Formentera. Via the spacious terrace, you have access to the independent casita with a large, air-conditioned bedroom, private bathroom and a small kitchenette. A large barbecue is available. The location of the house is quiet and yet not secluded. The small, original village Es Cubells with shopping possibilities as well as some restaurants can be reached on foot. The next bigger village, San Jose, can be reached in a few minutes by car, and Ibiza Town is not far away either. There is a pebble beach only 500 m from the house, and the island's top beaches, including Cala Jondal and Es Torrent, are only a few minutes away by car.
