DESCRIPTION

Stuckdarach House is part of the Stuckgowan Estate Collection and is situated on the shores of beautiful Loch Lomond in the Scottish Highlands, just under an hour north of Glasgow. Stuckdarach House is a listed building that has been renovated to a high standard, respecting the traditional structures and transformed into a very stylish and charming holiday villa. Fine wooden floors, tasteful furnishings and a subtle colour scheme combined with modern amenities create the perfect relaxing holiday ambience.

Stuckdarach House is built at split level with mezzanines. The villa offers accommodation for a total of 12 people in the main house with 5 bedrooms and an annexe with 1 bedroom. It has a large living room with high ceilings, wood-burning stove and French doors leading out onto the terrace, a fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar/dining table, a dining room and a cosy living room where the children can watch TV. There are 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms in the main house and 1 further bedroom with bathroom in the separate annexe. In the manicured walled garden there is a barbecue for enjoying family meals and a hot tub for 7 people to relax at the same time.

On request, you can hire a chef to prepare meals and also book a cleaning service. Alternatively, there are plenty of good local restaurants in the area.

Stuckdarach is just a short stroll from the shores of enchanting Lake Lomond, Scotland's largest lake by area and part of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Surrounded by rolling mountains, picturesque villages and golf courses, it offers a wealth of outdoor adventures on land and water - including cycling, horse riding, boating, canoeing, water skiing and much more! From here you can also drive to Ben Lomond, a 974 metre high mountain from whose summit you have a fantastic view of the whole of Loch Lomond and its islands. Or simply take a trip to the beautiful villages around the loch and visit the cafés, restaurants and numerous shops.
