Villa Tombolina, built in the 16th century, used to be the Archbishops of Urbino‘s summer residence. It is located close to Montemaggiore al Metauro in Marche in a beautiful, rural countryside with panoramic view. A long and attentive restoration has brought back the property‘s ancient splendour. On the upper floor, there is a kitchen and a central living room from where guests can enter four suites, all with own bathrooms. Two of the suites have access to a balcony with splendid views. Villa Tombolina is surrounded by a park like, well-kept garden with pool, sun loungers, children‘s playground and table tennis. It also offers a private chapel for guests‘ use. On the property olive oil, cheese and salami is produced. Montemaggiore with restaurants and shopping facilities is in a distance of 3 km, Conero Riviera and the sandy beaches of the Adriatic Sea is 20 km away. Other sights such as Gradara Castle or the Grotte di Frasassi can be reached in less than an hour by car.
