Welcome to Mas Respelido, a cosy and charming haven nestled in the heart of Mouries, a quaint and picturesque village in the beautiful Alpilles region. Here, you'll find a true representation of authentic Provence, a place where peace and tranquility abound, yet is just a hop, skip and a jump from the vibrant village centre. This unique holiday home has been lovingly crafted by the visionary architects Liliana and Alain Meylan, who have brought it to life with meticulous attention to detail. At Mas Respelido, we're dedicated to sustainable tourism, a commitment to preserving the beauty of our surroundings and supporting local craftsmen. It's a place where you can truly relax and enjoy the beauty of nature in an elegant yet rustic style. It's like a painting by André Derain come to life. The two main buildings, the Mas and the Summer House, are a true homage to the past, while offering all the comforts of a modern luxury residence. The dining area, separated from the swimming pool by large sliding glass doors, can accommodate up to 12 guests, and the large wooden table is ideal for cosy evenings. On the upper floor, you will find the 65 m² master bedroom with a king-size bed, a large dressing room and an Italian shower. The main living room, made entirely of natural stone, houses more works of art and opens onto the gardens through large windows, creating a beautiful dialogue with nature. The large dining kitchen, complete with an impressive fireplace, is perfect for enjoying delicious feasts. Mas Respelido offers six individual bedrooms and can comfortably accommodate 12 guests, making it a cosy retreat. The friendly staff prepare breakfast each morning as a buffet of local specialities, ensuring a delicious start to your day. The master bedroom in the summer house is truly the pièce de résistance, but even the five other bedrooms in the main house will make you feel like royalty. They all have king-size beds, dressing rooms, and adjoining bathrooms with walk-in limestone showers and AESOP products. Each bedroom has its own unique style, so you can choose to relax in the comfort of your own space or get together with friends and family in the other rooms. One of the bedrooms on the ground floor is a little hidden gem, accessible only from the garden. There's also a summer kitchen and a Japanese kamado grill, perfect for cooking up a storm and enjoying meals with loved ones. And when you're ready to unwind, a pool table, boules/petanque court with balls, and a private pool provide hours of entertainment.
