Villa La Madrague is harmoniously nestled in the Mediterranean landscape of Gigaro, a coastal stretch near La Croix-Valmer on the Côte dAzur. Surrounded by pine groves, vineyards, and the deep-blue Mediterranean Sea, it embodies the serene elegance for which the region is known. In contrast to the glamorous villas of Saint-Tropez, La Madrague exudes understated luxury—a place that captivates not with flashy glamour, but with its atmosphere and location. The architecture blends Provençal tradition with modern comfort. Light-colored natural stone facades, terracotta-colored roofs, and expansive windows create a harmonious interplay of Mediterranean warmth and contemporary openness. The timelessly elegant furnishings create a cozy atmosphere. Many rooms open onto terraces or shaded courtyards, allowing the indoor and outdoor spaces to flow seamlessly into one another. From there, the view stretches across Gigaro Bay to the rolling hills of the Massif des Maures. The garden is carefully landscaped and planted with regionally typical flora. Lavender, rosemary, oleander, and ancient olive trees exude the characteristic scent of southern France. Small paths in the garden lead to quiet retreats. Particularly impressive is the pool area, which blends harmoniously into the landscape and seems to merge almost with the sea. In the evening, the warm light of the setting sun bathes the garden in golden hues. Its proximity to Gigaro Beach makes La Madrague particularly attractive. The fine sandy beach is significantly quieter than many other spots on the Riviera. At the same time, the surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for hikes along coastal trails, boat trips, and visits to nearby wineries. Despite its secluded location, well-known destinations like Saint-Tropez and Ramatuelle are within easy reach.
A housekeeper comes on Wednesdays and Saturdays for three hours each time. More frequent visits are also possible upon request for an additional fee. We are also happy to organize cooking services, babysitting, restaurant reservations, and yoga classes for you. Shopping options can be found in Gigaro and La Croix-Valmer. There is also a large market there on Sunday mornings featuring fresh local produce. Three secure parking spaces are available on the property.
