DESCRIPTION

This beach villa, designed by the renowned designer Geoffrey Bawa, is based on the principles of Tropical Modernism. The villa combines a luxurious style with a touch of barefoot luxury. The casual combination of raw concrete walls with lots of wood creates a harmonious symbiosis of different building materials. The villa is located on a quiet stretch of sandy beach near Induruwa, an international water sports centre. The villa is suitable for people who want to spend an active holiday as well as for those who want to escape from everyday life. The overall design of the villa is characterised by a simple and minimalist aesthetic, complemented by modern furnishings. The suite on the ground floor is wheelchair accessible, while the upper floors and the roof terrace are accessible by lift. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning. There is a separate TV/media room as well as a pool table. The open-plan dining/living room/kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a view to the south over the well-kept lawn to the beach and the sea. The five bedrooms offer access to the pool or garden and a view of the beach. Three of the bathrooms are equipped with bathtubs that offer a views of the beach. One of the bedrooms is designed as a triple room, making it particularly suitable for couples with a small child or three children of similar ages.
An additional dining area is located on the covered veranda on the ground floor, which is next to the pool and offers a view over the garden. The roof terrace is furnished with comfortable seating and offers plenty of space for early morning yoga or sunset relaxation.

An experienced team, comprising of a villa manager, a housekeeper, stewards and a chef, ensures guest´s well being. Meals are served à la carte.
